It’s also the meeting between a string quintet and piano, which creates an unexpected conversation, founded in the constant pursuit of rhythms and colors. This combo is open to ensemble work as much as to individual and collective improvisation. Di Giusto and Camerata Ambigua help us discover a one of a kind musical form, rich and sophisticated that immediately captivates, intelligently composed, though no less intimate. It feeds the soul. It's instrumental music that keeps the listener breathless and to truly appreciate its intensity, one has to hear it live. Camerata Ambigua’s crescendos, driven by an accomplished artistic style, lift you to dizzying heights rarely experienced. Once you reach the summit, you’ll have to take in a deep breath of this crisp, fresh air. Their first album « La Cambiada » was released by Mañana (distributed worldwide via Naïve), a new label created by one of the founding members of Gotan Project and dedicated to new forms of contemporary Argentine musical expression. |
